Analytics is optional. Google Analytics does not load through our consent system until you choose to allow it. You can reject it and continue using the site.

What cookies and local storage do
Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent with relevant website requests. Local storage keeps a value in the browser without automatically sending it with each request. This site uses browser storage to remember privacy choices and may use WordPress cookies for sign-in or an optional comment preference.
| Storage | Purpose and choice | Duration |
|---|---|---|
synclexia_consent_v1Local storage, this origin | Remembers your Analytics choice, policy version, and the time of the choice. Used only to apply that privacy preference. | Choice valid for 180 days. An expired value is removed on a later visit and Analytics stays off until a new choice. |
_ga, _ga_*First-party Analytics cookies | Only after Analytics opt-in. Distinguish browsers and maintain session information for Google Analytics 4. Not essential to browse or listen. | Our tag sets a maximum age of 180 days with automatic renewal disabled; browsers may shorten it. |
comment_author_*, comment_author_email_*, comment_author_url_* | WordPress may remember your name, email, and website if you select the separate “save my details” checkbox on a comment form. Leave it unchecked to avoid these convenience cookies. | Normally up to one year, or until cleared in your browser. |
wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wp-settings-* | WordPress login, authentication, and account preferences when using sign-in or administration. Ordinary visitors do not need to sign in to browse. | Varies by function: session, login/“remember me” duration, or up to one year for account preferences. |
How Analytics consent works
We use a basic, opt-in implementation for Google Analytics 4. Before consent, and after rejection, our system does not load the Google Analytics tag or send Analytics measurement requests. If you allow Analytics, our tag enables analytics storage while keeping advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization denied. It also disables Google signals and advertising personalization in its configuration.
Analytics may measure page views and interactions, device/browser information, referral source, and approximate region. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or message/comment contents as Analytics events. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s cookie information for more about its service.
Change or withdraw your choice
Select Cookie settings in the footer, switch optional Analytics on or off, and save. You can also choose Reject analytics directly. If you withdraw an earlier permission, we disable collection, remove accessible _ga cookies for this site, and reload the current page to unload Analytics. This does not undo earlier lawful processing or automatically delete data Google already received.
Your preference applies to this browser and this website origin. Clearing browser storage, using a different device/browser, or waiting until the choice expires may cause the banner to appear again. If your browser blocks storage, we can apply the choice only for the current page; Analytics defaults off on the next page. A browser Global Privacy Control signal keeps optional Analytics off.
You can also clear or block cookies using your browser’s privacy settings. This may affect sign-in and stored preferences. If JavaScript is disabled, our optional Analytics loader does not run and the settings dialog is unavailable.
Other requests and services
Rejecting Analytics does not stop requests required to fetch the site, audio files, fonts, images, or comment avatars. Current pages reference Google Fonts, Unsplash and Divi images, and Gravatar avatars. Their providers receive connection information when their assets are requested. We found no embedded third-party audio or video players in the reviewed public pages; audio is served from this site. Following an external link takes you to another service with its own privacy and cookie rules.
See the Privacy Notice for contact forms, comments, hosting/security information, and your rights.
